With Audio Mid Recorder, you can record sound files from different sources and save them in many audio formats. The program lets you record audio being played on the most popular media files and, actually, you can record audio from any media player. If you're listening to your favorite songs or watching a movie or a video file, you can record anything by simply clicking on the record button. Moreover, you can record from your microphone, for example, when singing or playing the guitar. To record audio, you will first have to click on the options menu and select the input device or the source you will be recording your files from. The files can be saved as Mp3, WMA, OGG, and WAV. Once you finished recording, you can set any output directory to save your files to.
There is a wizard mode you can access by simply clicking on it. The wizard will guide you in four steps on how to finish your recordings. Basically, it will ask you to indicate the source, the output format, file length limitation and name. All files will be saved to the playlist in the program's graphical interface. By right-clicking on them, you can open the folder, play the file, or edit the ID3 tag information. Considering that this is not free software, you can only try it for a period of time by downloading the free trial version. The thing is that, when using the free trial version, you only get to record 60 seconds. To record any longer, you'd have to register and buy the program.
